Bell FALCON XR Mips

The XR Spherical is a helmet that will do a little bit of everything - racing cyclocross, road, the usual weekend ride or long-distance cycling around the world. The Falcon XR features a 'Deep Road' fit, ample ventilation, Fidlock® buckle, Ionic+™ antimicrobial* comfort padding - built into a helmet that is both utilitarian and economical. This versatile helmet has the same all-round features and slim profile as the XR Spherical, plus Mips® Evolve protection in certain impacts. The helmet is also compatible with the Blackburn® Grid COB rear LED light that integrates seamlessly into the large rear vent.

Float Fit™ retention system
A minimalist, lightweight fit system with a rubber-covered dial that is integrated with MIPS. The helmet features lightweight straps with No-Twist Tri-Glides, quick-adjustment fasteners that also keep the straps in place without twisting.

The Mips® Evolve
Helmet has integrated MIPS that protects the brain from the rotation that occurs in a crash. The rotational force to the brain can cause the most serious brain injuries. With MIPS, the outer and inner parts can slide relative to each other, reducing rotation and counteracting damage to the head and brain. Tests and studies show that MIPS significantly reduces the force and reduces the risk of a serious brain injury.

The helmet should generally be replaced after an external impact, such as a bicycle accident.
